Business Need
JJH Building Contractors Ltd was chosen through a competitive tender exercise to develop the existing space into working offices and commercial areas.
Scope of Works
The project was undertaken to redevelop an existing warehouse footprint, providing separate offices and workshop areas. The existing offices, canteen and toilet spaces were refurbished to match the new construction works.
Areas were designed and constructed as independent pods linked together which serviced individual department needs.
Installation of large roller shutter openings for high vehicles were formed into the existing walling with segregated secure fencing and walkways.
Outcome
Provision of an amalgamated service depot for all environmental front line workers and delivering services across the Wigan Borough.
